Feast Day Celebrations
Our parish priest and the organising committee of our Feast Day celebration would like to thank Archbishop William Goh, the priests who took part in our triduum, healing service and celebrations, and to all parishioners and friends who made it a very joyous occasion.

Fr John Bosco: “Thanks go out to the wardens — especially for their patience and help, given the unpredictable weather and vehicles dropping off passengers  the communion ministers, the choirs, the sacristan, the florist and her friends, the carnival committee, in particular the pastoral council chairman, whose hair turned grey overnight.

And also, not forgetting some of our future priests— our altar servers. There are potential candidates there, I won’t mention their names so as not to put pressure on them. Pray for them, and also that the number of candidates would increase. Thanks, too, to the flower boys and girls, the statue bearers, and to all of you who have made this a truly wonderful celebration.

A big, big thank-you to Archbishop. Every year thus far, he has made it a point to come here, but I think, I don’t know, we pray that he will come back next year. This weekend was very, very busy for His Grace, because there were six celebrations, so he had to forego one or two to come here. There were feast day celebrations at the parishes of St Michael, St Vincent de Paul, Our Lady Star of the Sea, St Francis of Assisi and ours, as well as Migrant Sunday. Thank you for making time for us, Your Grace.”
