We use our musical talents to rally the parish family. The choirs help to elevate the Eucharistic celebration at Mass into one filled with reverence, joy and glory.
Our volunteers look towards God to create an active and fully participative congregation during services. What do we do? We serve at Masses as well as on special occasions such as Christmas and Holy Week.
We also support wedding and funeral masses upon request. And we are involved in other church activities such as parish funfairs, visiting the sick, and hosting the New Year countdown gathering.
Each Mass time is served by a different choir over the weekend:
Angelus Choir (Saturday 6pm)
We sing God’s praises and worshipping in communion with His congregation. We have been blessed with members of all ages and nationalities. We welcome all with a willing heart to join us, regardless of ability.
Magnificat Chorale (Sunday 8.30am)
The Magnificat Chorale is made up of children, youth and adults. We give praise to God through our voices, our hands and even our feet! Come, all who have a thirst to serve the Lord through singing or playing an instrument. Let us serve the Lord by bringing His people closer in love with Him during Mass.
Canticle Choir (Sunday 10.30am)
Canticle Choir has about 30 members, many with young families. A large proportion of members have been with the choir since youth and have grown in faith and musicality alongside each other. The choir is accompanied by a five-piece band and sings a combination of traditional and contemporary Christian music.
Benedictus Choir (Sunday 12.30pm)
Benedictus Choir is an all-Filipino ministry of workers coming from different professional fields in Singapore, treating each other as family, sharing the same passion of singing and serving God despite being away from home.
Caritas Choir (Sunday 6pm)
Caritas Choir was formed by Patricia Ortega 24 years ago and it first led the congregation during evening mass on Easter Sunday. Since then, it has always been there every Sunday for the 6pm Mass, with practice 45 minutes before Mass. The choir comprises of secondary school pupils, students from tertiary institutes, working adults and retirees. We warmly welcome singers and musicians to be part of this ministry.
When do we meet?
Generally, members meet to practise every Saturday/Sunday 45 minutes before Mass begins.
