“The definitive aim of catechesis is to put people not only in touch, but also in intimacy, with Jesus Christ.” (Catechesi Tradendae in the General Directory for Catechesis #80).

We are a group of 25 catechists and assistants, taking care of around 350 students.

The training for catechists is provided by the Office for the New Evangelisation (all year round).

What do we do?

We are committed to share the faith with children and youth aged five to 16 years old (Kindergarten 2 to Secondary 4) and inspire them to live out the tenets of the faith with conviction and joy.

We also prepare them for the Sacraments of First Confession (Primary 2), First Holy Communion (Primary 3) and Confirmation (Secondary 4).

Classes are conducted every Sunday (excluding June and December holidays) from 10am to 11.30am.

When do we meet?

Every third Sunday of the month at 11.45am (excluding June and December holidays), at St Teresa Pastoral Centre.
