Blessings on Fourth Weekend of the Month
Special blessings at the end of Masses this weekend for parents-to-be

 

St Teresa’s Parent Prayer Circle
Every last Sunday of the month, the St Teresa’s Parent Prayer Circle meet to pray for the needs of the children, families, as well of their own personal intentions. Join the upcoming session on Sunday 30 July, from 10.15am to 11am in #02 – 03 of St Teresa Centre (above canteen).

 

Briefing Day for Infant Baptism
The next Infant Baptism will be held on Sunday 6 August in our parish.
To prepare for this, there will be a meeting for parents whose babies are getting baptised, and the godparents need to be present as well.

Prayers for Priests
There will be a prayer service for priests and vocations at our chapel, Wednesday 26 July, at 6.30pm after daily Mass. All are encouraged to pray for priestly and religious life, and the seminarians staying at our parish.

“The harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few; therefore ask the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into his harvest.” (Luke 10:2)

 

Gathering with the Joyful Hearts Group
Parishioners are welcome to get together for an afternoon of Divine Mercy prayers and fellowship to bond with each other.

An Hour of Eucharistic Adoration
All are invited to the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament at the chapel on Thursday 3 August from 8pm to 9pm.

Feast Of Our Lady of Mount Carmel
Mass schedule in the Carmelite Monastery on Sunday 16 July is as follows: 7.30am, 4.30pm and 6.30pm (with Archbishop) in English and 2.30pm in Mandarin.

 

Third Sunday Fellowship Lunch
All are welcome to a fellowship lunch in the canteen after the 12.30pm Mass.

 

Second Collection for GIFT
This weekend being the third weekend of the month, there will be a second collection to receive your monthly contributions to Catholic Foundation’s GIFT (Giving in Faith and Thankfulness) project if you are giving by cash or cheque.

The money is to fund the operating costs of numerous organisations in the archdiocese that are involved in families, youth, evangelisation, etc, as well as for building projects such as church facilities, a seminary, and a retirement home for priests.

Details about the GIFT programme and how to make donations can be found in the GIFT booklet and on the Catholic Foundation’s website, gift.catholicfoundation.sg.

A MARIAN PILGRIMAGE | 29 July 2017

Join the second of three pilgrimages organised by the Golden Years Club, in conjunction with the 100-year anniversary of the apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Fatima, Portugal.

The trip is guided by Sister Julia of the Infant Jesus Sisters. All are welcome to take part.

Cost: S$10 per person. Register at our canteen with payment after morning Masses on Sunday or at the parish office on weekdays.

It’s the 6th anniversary of our First Sunday Fellowship initiative. Join in the potluck lunch after the 12.30pm Mass at the canteen. All are invited

 

Collection for the Poor
There will be a second cash collection at this weekend’s Masses for the poor and the needy, under the care of the Society of St Vincent de Paul at our parish. Please give generously to the families and individuals receiving aid.

Annual Retreat for Priests
The priests of the diocese will be away for their yearly retreat from 3 to 7 July (Mon to Fri).
There shall be no daily Masses at 6pm. Communion Service will be conducted by our Extra-Ordinary Communion Ministers. All Mass intentions will be offered up at the given date during the retreat.

Please pray for all the priests who will be attending the retreat, that they may have much-needed quiet time, rest and rejuvenation, and strengthen their relationship with God.

Requiem Mass for Deceased Loved Ones
There will be no Requiem Mass at 8pm on Wed 5 July due to the priests’ retreat. All Mass intentions will be offered up at the retreat.
