Charities Week 2017
We appeal to you to give generously to this annual fundraising event organised by Caritas Singapore to help the poor, families, youth and children in need, prisoners, migrant workers, persons with HIV/AIDS, persons with physical challenges, mental health conditions, and who are disadvantaged, as well as to support overseas humanitarian aid.
Your contributions will enable the many Catholic organisations under Caritas to continue their work in reaching out to those in need. Make a difference in the lives of others and pick up a Charities Week envelope and give generously.
You may drop your contributions at designated donation boxes in church or mail your donation directly to Caritas Singapore (for cheques only).
For walk-in donations, visit Caritas Singapore at 55 Waterloo Street, #08-01, Catholic Centre. Or call 63383448 for more information.
Second Collection for GIFT
This being the third weekend of the month, there will be a second collection to receive your monthly contributions to Catholic Foundation’s GIFT project.
The Catholic Foundation is looking for regular monthly contributions to fund the numerous organisations in the archdiocese that are involved in families, youth, evangelisation, etc, as well as for building projects such as church facilities, a seminary, and a retirement home for priests.
Parishioners are encouraged to pledge and give on a monthly basis to the archdiocese. The collection bags to be passed around are to collect any cash or cheques. If you have already given through monthly GIRO or credit-card deductions, you need not contribute further unless you wish to do so.
Those who give their money through GIRO, credit cards or GIFT envelopes with their names and contact information may check on their contributions through gift.catholicfoundation.sg.
If you would like to sign up to use GIRO, pledge envelopes may be found at the bulletin stands at the entrances of the church.
