Second Collection for GIFT
This weekend being the third weekend of the month, there will be a second collection to receive your monthly contributions to Catholic Foundation’s GIFT (Giving in Faith and Thankfulness) project if you are giving by cash or cheque.

To support the archdiocese’s 10-year pastoral plan for a more vibrant, missionary and evangelistic Church, the Catholic Foundation will have to raise $238 million over the next 7 years. The money is to fund the operating costs of numerous organisations in the archdiocese that are involved in families, youth, evangelisation, etc, as well as for building projects such as church facilities, a seminary, and a retirement home for priests.

Details about the GIFT programme and how to make donations can be found in the GIFT booklet and on the Catholic Foundation’s website, gift.catholicfoundation.sg.

As Catholics, it is our duty to support and help build and grow our Church, and you are highly encouraged to contribute on a regular monthly basis.

The collection bags being passed around are to collect any cash or cheques you may wish to offer. If you have already given through monthly GIRO or credit card deductions, you need not contribute further unless you wish to.

Parishioners who give their money through GIRO, credit cards or GIFT envelopes with their names and contact information may check on their contributions through the GIFT website.

If this is the first time you are signing up to contribute by GIRO, kindly have your pledge envelopes ready with GIRO form completed, and drop them into the collection bags that will be passed around. Pledge envelopes may be found at the bulletin stands.

For an update on the collections so far, read the report.
