October: World Mission Month
Thank you very much for your generous support during World Mission Sunday last weekend. This support is a blessing for the priests, Religious, and lay catechists who depend on this help through the Pontifical Mission Society for the Propagation of the Faith, to spread the Gospel in mission lands.
Please continue to pray for all who serve in mission countries, that they remain steadfast in their vocation to be Christ’s messenger of love to those they serve.
Invitation to mission:
Recognise that the harvest is plenty and the labourers are few. Continue to pray for the grace to trust the Lord, and to witness His saving love to all in your family, school, or market places.

Mass for the Sick
Our parish will be having a Mass with Anointing of the Sick on the 1st Sunday of Advent, 27 Nov 2016 at 3pm. Parishioners with loved ones who are sick are encouraged to be present with them at the Mass. The Sacrament of Reconciliation is available half an hour before Mass.
Registration is required only to those with sick family members who need transport to get to the church. All others are welcomed to this special Mass without registering.
Parishioners who drive and can volunteer their time to fetch the sick to the church are also encouraged to register. As we begin a new year in the Church calendar, we are to continue our work of mercy and give of ourselves to our sick brothers and sisters who need help.
Put your names and contact numbers down for either of the above by 13 Nov through the church office, or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
