Knit for Hope
Volunteer as hat knitters to offer comfort and hope to cancer patients. This is a programme at the National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS) led by Ms Lyn Ee, a cancer survivor and expert knitter.
Hair loss is among the common side effects of some chemotherapy treatments. These hats help patients protect their scalps in air-conditioned rooms and to help them look and feel better.
No experience is required, just your interest in knitting and commitment to knit at least 2 hats to be given free to cancer patients. Training and materials provided.
If interested, please contact Agnes Koh from St Teresa Church Craft Club at 96626033 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to register, and National Cancer Centre will contact you to provide the details.

Year of Mercy Reflection Booklet – “Mercy”
The Office for the New Evangelisation has been hard at work producing resource guides for the Jubilee Year of Mercy. Three reflection booklets, filled with Scripture passages, prayers, notes and reflection points, will be distributed at all parishes in Singapore every month starting in April.
The second of three booklets, titled “Mercy”, is available from this weekend. It will help us reflect on and show mercy to others, to be compassionate, because being compassionate is the way of being a Christian.
Do pick up the booklet at our bulletin stands or church office, or download it here for group and individual reflection. There is also a guide called the “Pilgrim’s Pack” to help you plan and prepare for a pilgrimage to one of the Holy Doors at designated churches.
Check out all the resources online.
