MERCY WALK | 11 June 2016

HOLY YEAR OF MERCY PILGRIMAGE
To help us experience God’s mercy and show greater compassion to others in this Jubilee Year of Mercy, our parish is organising a pilgrimage to the Church of the Sacred Heart (Tank Road) that will take participants through a journey, to enable them to carry out works of corporal and spiritual mercy, and to pray and receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist.

Date: Saturday 11 June 2016
Time: 1pm to 7pm
Facilitator: Sister Francisca, Religious of the Cenacle

For the full details, kindly register for this pilgrimage online by 17 May.
Or pick up a form at the bulletin stands in church and drop them into the boxes provided.

The Extraordinary Jubilee Year of Mercy was opened on 8 December 2015 by Pope Francis and will conclude on 20 November 2016. It is the Holy Father’s desire that the people of God will bring the Gospel of mercy to each person, that all will be able to find the joy of “rediscovering and rendering fruitful God’s mercy, with which we are all called to give comfort to every man and every woman of our time”. He said it is our journey, a penitential journey, that requires an open and repentant heart to receive the indulgence of God, the mercy of God.
