FEAST DAY TRIDUUM
Family – The Heart of the Church
I would like to invite you and your spouse to an upcoming workshop on Saturday 18 July 2015 at 2pm. The theme of this workshop is Couples in Love.
This is part of a three-month parish programme from July to September this year in preparation for our parish feast day in October.
In October, a three-week meeting will be held in Rome with around 250 bishops from around the world to discuss family and family life. Together with the Catholic Church, our parish will be celebrating the canonisation of Louis & Zelie Martin, the parents of our patron saint St Teresa.
It will be the first time in the history of the Church that a married couple will be canonised as saints.
In our parish, we will be planning several events for families.
Each month will start off with a sermon on the first or second Sunday, followed by a workshop that will be held on the third Saturday of the same month.
As mentioned above, July’s theme will be Couples in Love, followed by Parents in Love, the theme for August, and lastly, September’s theme will be Families in Love.
Please RSVP by 12 July 2015 for the first workshop.
If you need child-minding help to attend this workshop, please let us know in advance so that we may arrange a group to take care of your child.
We look forward to seeing you at the workshop.
With God’s Love,
Fr Michael Arro
